A lecture with the theme of "Design is Good for Business" will be held commencing at 7.30 am on 21 July 2005 at the Ernst & Young Boardroom in Melbourne, 120 Collins Street.
Steven Martinuzzo, director and co-founder of CobaltNiche Design, has been invited to give a 20 minute address as part of a three person panel about how the design activities of CobaltNiche have assisted its clients’ business.

The overriding theme of the RMIT Business Lecture Series is innovation and the promotion of innovation in the Victorian business and academic communities. Specific objectives include providing:
- access for the Victorian business, academic and government communities to the ideas and expertise of Australians who have made significant contributions to innovation in a variety of industries overseas and locally;
- a forum for the exchange of innovative ideas, approaches and experiences;
- a vehicle for the development of networks and partnerships between business, government and academia.

During 2004, the Series attracted some very high profile guest speakers, including Mr David Gonski AO, Chairman of Coca-Cola Amatil, Chairman, Australia Council and board member ANZ Bank and Westfield Holdings, and Dr Robin Batterham, Chief Scientist of Australia and Chief Technologist Rio Tinto Limited.
