Double Award Winner

It was an early morning start for the CobaltNiche Corporate Triathlon team when they arrived at Elwood Park for their first time entry into the corporate event. The team consisted of Jack Magree (Director), Lorrin Windahl (Designer) and Tom Henry (client). It was a mixed team both in gender and age but it was the old boys who impressed.
Tom started the team off with an entertaining attempt at peeling off his wetsuit after the swim. He then completed his ride and run legs with style. Tom then handed the timing anklet to Lorrin. She was just thankful to not have drowned in the salty water and with the throng of splashing arms. Jack brought the team home with a mighty dash to the line ensuring the team of a decent finish. It was a great competition but perhaps the best contest was the team’s crown for the reddest face. Although Lorrin made a mighty attempt, it was Jack who walked away with this crown.
Overall the team put in an excellent effort. Our total time of 2hrs 58mins 8secs meant that on average we each made it under the hour.
Watch out for us next year when we attempt to improve on this result.
