Australian Design Awards 2007

13 December 2006

CobaltNiche has entered three recently completed products in this year’s Australian Design Awards. The actual judging will take place early next year with the gala presentation dinner being held in Melbourne on 11 May 2007. Projects entered include:

dataTaker DT80; an advanced, stand alone, data logger used in a vast range of industries to tracking signals and measurements from sensors e.g. temperature, pressure, flow, load, voltage etc.

Varian 400-DS; a high-performance instrument for testing pharmaceutical products. It’s used by pharmaceutical companies and regulatory bodies to measure the rate the active drug is released from the dosage form or medical device.

Auspex Jaws Crimper; is a professional tool specifically designed to join cross-linked polyethylene hot and cold water systems in domestic and commercial buildings.

The Australian Design Awards is a division of Standards Australia. Having been involved for several years with ADA, as applicants, recipients and in judging, we believe Standards Australia is a very effective and impartial body, well suited to operating Australia’s only national product design awards programme.

Although awards are a privilege to receive, CobaltNiche has always seen the commercial success of a product as the best reward we can receive.
